It's supposed to be one big happy continuity, not The Twilight Zone.Zero desire to see Jod outside of the context of this show.
I can't stand all the dumbass connections that Filoni and Favreau keep springing. It's hacky in the extreme. Let each show be its own thing.
Chirrut from Rogue One. Bendu from Rebels. Is Jod the first person we've seen in canon that is a Force user, but is decidedly NOT a Jedi or Dark Side user?
Many such cases.Chirrut from Rogue One. Bendu from Rebels.
No. Having an occasional cameo is fine. But every piece of material should stand on its own, not be a stupid parade of forced reference, callbacks and endless cameos. It's supposed to be one big happy continuity, not The Twilight Zone.
Chirrut from Rogue One. Bendu from Rebels.
I actually disagree with the consensus that Chirrut was a Force user. I just think he got VERY lucky. Besides, if he was an overt Force user he would definitely try to become a Jedi, so he doesn't fit in the "Force as just a tool and not his main thing" category.Chirrut from Rogue One. Bendu from Rebels.
Chirrut is a true believer. He doesn't use the Force, more so he allows the Force to use him.
When I see a blind guy shoot down a TIE fighter, I'm not sitting there going "it was just luck".
"In my experience there's no such thing as luck."I actually disagree with the consensus that Chirrut was a Force user. I just think he got VERY lucky. Bendu.... is in a category of his own.![]()
