Season 5 anticipation thread

If anyone wants to (re-)watch the Indiana Jones movies ahead of time, I've found out that the first four are available on Paramount+. I'm only going to watch the first three, but they're all there except for the newest one, nonetheless.

You'll have to watch Bonnie and Clyde somewhere else, unfortunately, but I already have it on DVD. If you haven't seen it, I recommend this movie too. A lot of fun. Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty are great in it.

Confession Time: Yes, I'm an '80s kid, but I've only ever seen the first Indiana Jones movie, Raiders of the Lost Ark. I'll be interested to see what was in The Temple of Doom that was so intense that it made the MPAA create the PG-13 rating.

I look forward to your reviews.

Eh? You mean for adventurous archeological shenanigans?

They did say the fifth season would be like Indiana Jones. So, I want to be able to see how. Plus they'll probably have things in the fifth season that I'll get a little bit more out of if I've seen those movies.

I will admit, Discovery is not my favorite Star Trek show. I like watching it, but I'm less excited about it than SNW or how I used to be about DS9.
But the entire rumor-mill on what this season could be about.... Yeah I'm kinda stoked.

Don't feed the trolls

If it was giving me palpitations, I’d be there for every episode, because it would mean it was interesting. :p

In all seriousness, it had a great cast and plenty of money behind it, the writing was just never there, for me.
