And it is incredibly inappropriate to call biracial people "hybrids." A hybrid is an offspring of two separate species. There is no such thing as a human "hybrid" today and hasn't been since the Neanderthals went extinct, because all human beings are the same species.
What terminology should we use?

But the shrill, passive-aggressive woman who controls her husband and belittles her children does seem... well, problematic.
Let me introduce you to my mother sometime... :D

Yeah I don't like any of the mashed-up ship names for this pair. But I have a friend who thinks this Spock is the snackiest of all the Spocks and thus he has dubbed this Spock, Hot Spocket.
Love it! :guffaw:

the Light Bright Aliens
::applause:: :lol:

Damn it. I totally remembered it being Chapel who asked "Who is she?"
It's okay. Memory loss is normal after a certain age...

And then you have T'Pol who almost tries to mate with Phlox in the NX-01 decon chamber because her pon farr cycle is beginning to spin dangerously out of control. She has to be zapped unconscious and then treated in Sickbay.

The drive to come home and bang (like a salmon) may not be divided male/female, or afflicted to both genders. At 6 years old a good Vulcan parent has set the course of their child's future completely as far as partner, education and job. So maybe they only couple people that are going to work off world with planet bound homebodies when the priests are putting all the psychic sex link betrothals into 7 year old kids.

Two spacers is just going to lead to death.

Two mouth breathing townies is unromantical and boring.

The Vulcan Captain from “Take Me Out to the Holosuite” is the first time I can remember a Vulcan being such an antagonistic jerk until Enterprise.

The rest of the time they just came off as stuck up. Spock and Saavik aside.

Could be precisely because it was decades after, with plenty of positive or neutral Vulcans in between :D

I don't know. The very next Vulcan episode on TOS had Sarek concealing a serious heart condition from his wife and ghosting his son for eighteen years because of his career choices. It also had Spock admitting that his father was perfectly capable of killing in cold blood if he had a "logical" reason to do so.

And need I mention Valeris?

Just because Spock is admirable doesn't mean that all Vulcans are admirable. Lord knows the ones I grew up on weren't.

Did anyone else get the impression that the inter dimensional beings were sorta like the Bajoran wormhole aliens?
Except instead of becoming religious icons they became customer service.

interesting what cultural proximity does to you when ascending to a new state of being.

And that makes Chapel a "Karen". Demanding to speak to the Manager (Yellow) after Blue would not help her.

you can grill vegetables

Not until after you've spent an hour cleaning the grill, because Vegetarians don't want their vegetables contaminated. Considering their sense of smell, I doubt a human could clean a BBQ grill to a Vulcan's standards.

Of course is "cleaning" something they even do in the 23rd century?

Recycle and refabricate.
