FTC sues Amazon, alleging it tricked consumers into signing up for Prime

https://www.cnn.com/2023/06/21/business/ftc-sue-amazon-prime/index.html

FTC: Why your honor, just recently Amazon released the third episode of season 2 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds a whole 2 days earlier, only on Prime, than honest paying customers of Paramount Prime's standalone subscription service, showing yet another shady, under-handed tactic to recruit Prime customers even at this late date.

Judge: BBEEEEZZZZOOOOOSSSS!!!!!

So just decided to do a free trial on Amazon to watch the episode (still up as of 7:20 PST) and though it wasn't a bad episode, per se, it just seemed like too little focus happened with the alternate timeline, and instead just rushed directly to the past....seems VERY similar to the Picard S2 plot, only condensed in one episode.

Has someone done a full write up of the episode? I just want all the spoilers. lol
It's literally on the previous page.

Summary for people who wanna know...
After the clip from RR, La'an and alternate Kirk jump to Toronto around our time, try to get along and figure out what kind of attack to prevent, make money by playing chess, steal a Challenger to chase after evidence from an attack on a bridge ("get to the bridge"!), feel attraction to each other, talk about how Earth is nice in her timeline but awful in his, get help from Pelia who lives in Vermont, end up at the Noonian-Singh institute where it turns out the Romulans have been trying to stop the eugenic war from happening, because it needs to happen for the world to be fine, and if it's prevented, the Federation won't exist, great moment where La'an meets Khan as a little kid, Kirk is killed, the Romulan is killed, the timeline is restored, and a temporal department agent appears to take the device back and tell her she can't talk to anyone about it all, leaving her devastated.

The Romulan time agent died similarly to the Zhat Vash agent in Pic S1Ep2, though he had a tablet in his mouth not an implant in his head

M'Benga: How is this possible? The tricorder scans are showing that you're pregnant... with James Kirk's child!

Kirk: I don't remember ever taking part in such a thing!

La'an: No wait, I can explain--

Sam: You augment scum! You must have drugged and...

For what it's worth I just now tried to watch it by making a trial Paramount sub on Amazon (despite already having a standalone Paramount sub), and the episode seems to be pulled now.

The Eugenics Wars redating might be a trial run for the entire franchise. If in 40 years Trek is still around (and considering the film industry is hellbent on rehashing sequels and remakes etc. there's a good chance it might be), they're going to have to shift the timeline of the entire franchise if we haven't had any aliens visit by 2063)

I know they're in Toronto because that's where they shoot, but is there a canon story reason why anyone would want to be in Toronto on purpose? lol

The heels are so she can blend in with 23rd century fashion if caught :D
For whatever reason we now know that the institute and Khan himself are in Toronto. Perhaps Canada has the most convenient regulations in the Trekverse
It seems the kids were raised there, with similarities to Stranger Things, and then taken all around the world to take over their pieces of the globe...

So with the episode down now, maybe people who saw it can answer questions (it was pulled before I got a chance to see it)
Why do the Romulans want to delay the Eugenics Wars? What motivation could they possibly have? Also what timeframe do the Romulans come from? Wouldn't they be more concerned with, say, preventing the synth attack on Mars?
