Shaw really is a complete and utter idiot. I know we're not in the "everyone gets along" era but is it really appropriate for the captain of a starship to actually gloat over the prospect of Picard and Riker - not to mention Seven - being hauled over the coals?
Yes. They effectively hijacked his ship on an unauthorized mission that endangered his crew. Shaw's not the bad guy here.

That would certainly explain the 'flashing red eye' thing.

Was just about to post the same; fugitive Pah-Wraith possession works better visually based on the glowing eyes than my "injured changeling-injured child Jack merger theory", and would maybe explain why a purported changeling like Vadic is subservient to her gooey-avatar-handler thing, if it's another PW...

Who is this Chancellor person Picard mentioned after Janeway? The new Klingon leader maybe?

Shaw really is a complete and utter idiot. I know we're not in the "everyone gets along" era but is it really appropriate for the captain of a starship to actually gloat over the prospect of Picard and Riker - not to mention Seven - being hauled over the coals? He has serious issues - to put it very kindly - and really needs help. As soon as possible.
He does need help. That doesn't make him an idiot. Riker has gloated before as has Picard, and other bad admirals of the week have too.

Shaw is a man who abides by the rules and would prefer people follow them, rather than the cowboy style cavalier attitude Picard appears to have, and has resulted in his people dying. That's not being an idiot; that's having a personality that makes sense.

Or am I the only one who drives down the road and someone speeds past 20+ over the speed limit and I hope there is a cop waiting for them?
Anybody else wanna see Worf & Raffi hook up and become a couple?
Nope. Not a chance in hell or Gre'thor or whatever.

Picard probably wrote about that in the autobiography. Since it "didn't happen" it wouldn't be classified, and the existence of Q seems to be common knowledge.

Not sure why you snipped out my perfectly valid point about Shaw hate-reading lol

Should've called the chancellor J'Mpok if they keep borrowing from Star Trek Online.

Picard: Try to contact Admiral Janeway?

Shaw: Let's see, your ship's doc blocks and ghosts you for 20 years. Your Bajoran crewwoman, another attractive lady under your command, found your "mentorship" of her controlling and uncomfortable, obviously. Do you see a pattern? cuz I see a pattern. I'm guessing Janeway's already got some kind of restraining order against you.

Picard:

It's not the pitch, it's the execution.
Yeah, we got 2 movies in a row about a bald Romulan-oriented villain in a giant ship with an implausible superweapon who wanted to destroy Earth as part of a nonsensical revenge plot. One of them was so bad it killed the movie franchise, and the other one was the highest-grossing Star Trek film ever to that point.

Oh, this was much better. Finally things start to come together. This feels like a cross between the whole Dominion war arc from DS9, and TNG's "Conspiracy," and I'm all for that. I hate that Ro sacrificed herself to buy our heroes more time, but damn what a way to go. I adore Michelle Forbes, and seeing her just made my day.

Worf and Raffi make a fantastic team, and their scenes were the highlight of this episode for me. That said, I like how things are coming together now, and I'm looking forward to what comes next. Nicely done!

Man I'm so hyped about this last episode Imposters. I feel like I'm on drugs. My endorphin is on hi level. Quality of season 3 is comparable with best of the best and those are seasons 5 and 6 of Star Trek Deep Space Nine and Star Trek The Next Generation.

Terry Matalas is f.... genius. I want Picard team to film seasons 4,5,6,7,8 infinity. I don't want this to stop. It's amazing. Season 2 and they stupid present day Los Angeles story with dircetors from Desperate Houswives killed me. But season 3 made me live again and I never felt better. I feel great as I felt when I was watching seasons 5 and 6 of TNG and DS9. AMAZING!

They had Vulcan gun-runners and smugglers in DS9.

I don't see why that wouldn't be the case - crime is not an emotional reaction. Isn't the acquisition of wealth and power logical, from a certain point of view?

Krinn felt like a Vulcan Walter White to me.
Yeah, I liked it. I get kind of annoyed with the assumption of a Vulcan monolith. I imagine, like with any religion, people can justify anything with "logic." Human people do.
