As well as the fact that people can have conflict and still work together. Not everyone is going to agree on everything. It's ridiculous to assume that getting past limitations of knowledge and ignorance won't result in conflict anyway. That's boring.
You can have both. It's not boring, it's Star Trek... the Conflict happens in the stories.. It's beautiful
So you're saying that TOS wasn't Star Trek then? It's not boring, it's Star Trek... the Conflict happens in the stories.. It's beautiful
Conflict between characters is part of the stories. It's not boring, it's Star Trek... the Conflict happens in the stories.. It's beautiful
I'm referring to the TNG cast of late saying because Roddenberry died they get to fight with each other... and they like this drama. Of course TOS showed we are still human.. Damn it Jim, I'm just a doctor .. i am not talking about outbursts or disagreements for goodness sake.. and that kind of 'conflict' is how we work things out.So you're saying that TOS wasn't Star Trek then?
I ask because that's the manner in which these TNG characters are being written for this particular season. If anything TOS showed that human beings were still human; but they could still work together and maintain professionalism while still having disagreements with one another.
i didn't say it wasConflict is not dystopian.
Then why is having it against Gene's vision of a better humanity?i didn't say it was
Lore just kinda standing there alongside them is... interesting.
That's interesting. Maybe we've got it the wrong way around and they brought Lore back to defeat Moriarty?
Sure, Moriarty was created as an adversary capable of outwitting Data. Even if some of Data was put into Lore, he could still defeat Moriarty. Would be interesting, but the way Geordi reacts in the one trailer, I wouldn't bet on the outcome. That's interesting. Maybe we've got it the wrong way around and they brought Lore back to defeat Moriarty?
