Sidious as a name never struck me as very interesting. Palpatine was lwas just "the Emperor" so adding on his Sith name just was odd.

Like I said before, my only interest in this show was through Amandla Stenberg's casting and Russian Doll co-creator Leslye Headland showrunning, but the inclusion of Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Jodie Turner-Smith, Dean-Charles Chapman, and Carrie-Anne Moss certainly heightens that interest!
