Whoosh!Whoosh! Apparently, the point that people aren't describing it as best ever or worst ever just went over your head completely--even though I described my ratings in detail to show you what I mean. That lack of comprehension makes this discussion futile, so I'll just leave it there.
The point that I am stating my observations in general, and having them repeated by others, is apparently being missed as well.
I am not calling you out specifically. I did not call anyone out specifically. I stating my observations of the fan response. You took the teen comment very personally which was not the intention. Your ratings make sense. Others do not. Thus the observations I am making.
The lack of comprehension feels two sided at this point.
Weird to have plain old lithium mentioned in Trek when dilithium has driven so many plots. Also, crying shame the story wasn't set in the 80's when nickel-cadmium batteries were used in cell phones. Twenty-four hours of charging for three minutes of use. The Borg nanoprobes would exhaust before full assimilation! There'd be a lot of ashen looking people stumbling about thinking they had a short-lived bug! 
indeed. Odd they mentioned lithium, though, as most car batteries are not lithium- based to this days. Possibly, but the battery in hybrids is not located in the front section, it’s under the seats.

In any case, as I wrote above, li-ion starter batteries exist, they are just unusual in the actual 2022, not unheard of, so it’s a very minor nitpick.
my point exactly: it isn’t. We can for example imagine that government regulations around 2022 mandate all new cars to sto using lead-acid batteries in favour of li-ion, which are more expensive but also more environmentally friendly, thus by 2024 they are common enough. I don’t see it happening in our present, but perhaps in the slightly more advanced one depicted here it could.
This is an alternate Earth history where we have fusion-driven sublight engine technology by 2018. It doesn't have to align with the real world.

Based on a single cursory google search, there are already companies selling lithium ion starter batteries to replace lead–acid ones... I remember how big a deal it was in the '90s in Hungary, and presumably elsewhere, when they made catalytic converters mandatory for two-stroke engines and people were scrambling to get them installed, so I can totally imagine an alternate history 2024 with the California State Government mandating that all cars have lithium ion starting batteries for efficiency/environmental reasons. Especially, like I said above, corporate lobbies in the US being strong enough to nip any administrative attempt to go full electric like Norway in the bud.
I once replaced my car's lead-acid battery with a top-reviewed lithium paste one. One Maine winter later I switched back to lead-acid...

They showed traditional lead -acid batteries. It is kind of insulting actually because a lot of Trek fans actually understand tech. I mean real tech, not fake Trek tech.
And no the world would not transition to all Li-Ion starting batteries in 2 years for traditional ICE cars. That would be a waste as we are trying to phase them out entirely and need the Lithium for electric car batteries and all the other battery powered tech. The Borg queen was eating lead-acid batteries and you had to suspend your anger at stupid to move past the terrible scene. They could have shown her destroying a Tesla or Leaf, but those cars would not be parked in a place where nobody would find a body that had been there for several hours.
