That USN lettering really pops. I was surprised how right it looks. If you're talking about that Enterprise variant, it remains about 95 percent complete. Pretty sure I shortened the neck on that one.![]()

Looks like a classic TOS hairstyle! Also, still find it strange that both Jerry and her are doing Star Trek now...never thought I'd see the day.
I love itIf you're talking about that Enterprise variant, it remains about 95 percent complete. Pretty sure I shortened the neck on that one.
I mean, that's all an opinion. It isn't clumsy to me, it's a beautiful design.it's the overall clumsiness and poor execution of the changes that annoy me.
The Enterprise bridge in DSC Season 2 looked so much better in promo shots than in the final episodes. The Final episodes look like they slapped a blue filter on it. Thankfully it doesn't look like they've done that for SNW

Is the Starfleet Delta-Badge on Uhura with the square behind it the new default?

Don't like that "warp poof" though. Didn't like it in TNG, DS9, Voyager etc and loved that it wasn't a thing at the end of Disco S2. Oh well.Small detail from the little footage we have, when the ship drops out of warp, you can see the impulse engines power up. I love it

Honestly, the color is the more important part.
The Split & Angled Pylon along with lower neck is fine as a intermediate variant.
But they really need to use the colors of the TOS enterprise and get rid of the aztec-ing texture.
That wasn't a thing during the TOS era, it needs to be that beautiful enamel or Egg Shell white that we all know/love.
I don't like it in a pre TOS series since Kirk's NCC 1701 didn't do it until TMP.Don't like that "warp poof" though. Didn't like it in TNG, DS9, Voyager etc and loved that it wasn't a thing at the end of Disco S2. Oh well.
In TOS there was no visual difference between warp and impulse.I don't like it in a pre TOS series since Kirk's NCC 1701 didn't do it until TMP.
More just for visual canon reasons. In TOS there was no visual difference between warp and impulse.
Seems like a weird reason to dislike it.
It was probably budget not allowing more creative effects.More just for visual canon reasons.
