The fourth season was pure poison though...

It had its moments, but I agree it didn't really seem to serve much purpose besides showing off how far CG had come since the first season.

If you want "pure poison" of with the, err, reboot of Reboot called The Guardian Code that was on Netflix a few years ago. That was downright terrible.

I’m looking forward to finding more about pike and his backstory from 2258 to 2265 as well as maybe even his earlier days. I mean don’t forget strange new worlds is basically what TOS was supposed to be as pike was supposed to have been the captain. So I’m glad they’re doing this series

Yes. It really is. The ship exterior is a kludged knock-off of bits and pieces of better designs, detailed and rendered in a way that's not up to the quality of many of the more talented hobbyists whose work you can find online.

Totally agree. While I like the interior of the DiscoPrise a lot, the exterior is another John Eaves special. All beveled edges. Not really a fan of his starship design aesthetic.

Exactly. He "designs" hero ships more or less as kitbashes - Enterprise E is straight out of the parts bin.

The bridge of the Discoprise is a thing of beauty, though.

I've started to put people with too many posts like that on my ignore list. Either they can't explain their position, or they won't, they just state a minimalist version of it with no explanation. Colossal waste of time for everyone involved.
