The guys who've spent the last two years screaming that Disco isn't canonical? Yes, this is the sort of thing they've been advocating. There've been people in this forum demanding that a timey-wimey paradox wipe the Disco from existence so we can return to the pristine continuity of TOS.

I still hold firmly to my opinion that the claim of "it's TOS Purists who detest DSC's continuity oddities" is a fallacy. It's, in my admittedly unscientific observation, fans who are used the much more continuous TNG-era shows who take greatest issue.

TOS fans are used to shit changing and not connecting. We don't typically care.

The complaints about continuity started five minutes after "The Vulcan Hello" began. If anyhing, they've calmed down this year.
Yeah, ummm...
Those complaints were also made a year after season one was made and season 2 was pretty much plotted out by then also.

So, Kurtzman says they will face greater problems in Season 3.

Will they have to deal with future Terralysium issues caused by their previous visit....a la the Iotians from TOS?

Burnham's mom spent a lot of time there, I'm not so sure that is where the conflict will come from.
At this point, I think the conflict will come from whatever fate has befallen the Federation by then.

I still think that Craft and his "War" is what the Discovery crew are going to be dropped into.

That was a weird quote. I mean, dude, what could be bigger than the extinction of all sentient life? The annihilation of the universe?

I struggle to even comprehend what "bigger problems" they could possibly have after saving the entire multiverse and protecting the future of all sentient life in the Galaxy within the span of 6 months.

I'm unclear of the setting of the Federation/V'Draysh of Calypso. One question is the shuttle at the end, "recent delivery," "never flown." But it appears to be a 23rd century shuttle. So if the ship is abandoned in the 33rd century, how did that happen?

I get the feeling Gabriel Burnham is living on Terralysium because it's separate from everything. Even in that time.

Ah my friend, that is a future tale just itching to be told.
Stay tuned for Season-3 of Star Trek: Discovery!
