Stargate SG-1 was consistently good. It didn't even have the first two season curse that all Star Treks suffer from. Outside of a handful of episodes like Code of Honor Emancipation the show was solid start to finish.

Even Seasons 6, 9, and 10 are good.

Ive just started watching it this year. its pretty good. i agree. not every episode is a winner, but I am enjoying it.

I like Orville in a “it’s entertaining in the moment” kind of way but I’m unlikely to rewatch any of it. The boxed set of DSC when released, however, will go on the shelf next to my TOS blu-rays.

SG-1 was great but went downhill fast after RDA left. Didn't care for other Stargate series.

If you took away the references to the Star Trek universe, no one would really see a similarity to Trek beyond two sci-fi shows that take place on ships.

I'm not sure I grasp the point of such a litmus test. Wouldn't the same be true of DS9? Which I happen to rank pretty highly, btw.

Agree here. For me, Orville (insert Orville reference jar here) is fun, but ultimately not enough to keep me in week to week.

It happens sometimes. I'm not on the same page with a lot of people about this episode, so I don't mind.

When the Enterprise Bridge pops up soon, or if we actually do see the Borg, we won't be so lucky.

I like Burnham fine, but I don't care for the evil AI trying to destroy all life in the universe story. Maybe it will wrap up with a bang. I hope.

I'm also not a fan of the back from the dead mother idea. I think introducing Spock this season was enough family drama, and they could have done more with him, Burnham, Sarek. and Amanda.

I think I like the version that only exists in the alternate universe inside my head, where the faith vs science storyline includes Sybok in the family drama, and the relationships between the 3 very different children and the interspecies parents. This version also includes the Preservers (who are established as a known quantity by Spock)... and that storyline includes both the Kelpian/Ba'ul and the church relocation. I much prefer my fantasy to this Skynet/Section 31/Super Suit/Borg bit.
