I wish they stopped overusing the transporters. Ship-to-ship beaming is supposed to be very risky. They could have just escorted the Emperor to her quarters.
Also, where did Sarek beam to? Weren’t they at warp? :)

He could end up as the head of Starfleet. Aim high, Klingon spy!

Hell, Arne Darvin infiltrated the highest levels of a major Federation space station for who knows how many months or years before being discovered. Worse has happened.

Or...in this case...will. :)

I’m guessing the incident with Tyler will make them change their mind about overwriting the brain and just teach them to be human.

The Federation Council agreed to the plan, and we know the President of the Federation presides over meetings of the Council. If they acquiesced to Cornwell's and Burnham's plan then the President likely signed off on it and could have given permission for the change in command.

I guess considering they gave MU Georgiou a fucking command .

I'm pretty sure that was just for show, to screw with the Klingons as well as using her battle tactics.

Agreed, she is supposed to be arrested and exiled into the Federation's equivalent of Guantanamo, for all the atrocities and genocide she caused as Emperor of the Terran Empire.

Irrelevant since it was a different universe. I don't think they could apply Federation laws to what happened in the MU.

Tyler doesn't have a vagina, so he won't get promoted up in this verse. Or maybe he does have one. Who knows.

I'm blown away that the navigator girl actually looked like she believed Cornwell's BS story about Captain Georgiou surviving. I don't know her name. The one that looks like Baby Stewie,

I just wonder what role the spore thing that entered Tilly in a previous episode will play. Will we see it play out in the finale or are they setting up something for season 2?

IIRC it was stated on After Trek that it won't be addressed till Season 2.

However, this is Discovery-verse, not the logical Trek verse, so it is what it is :sigh:...

She can’t be arrested as she’s committed no crimes (yet) against the Federation. You can’t arrest her for being the ruler of an Imperial start in an alternate reality.

The Federation wouldn't do something like that. Every other major power I know of in the Prime universe's alpha and beta quadrants would shove her in a deep, dark hole (or outright kill her) without hesitation.
