Spoilers Discovery 1x14: "The War Without, The War WIthin" Preview

The Nazis granted "Honorary Aryan" status to racial groups/nationalities that they considered valuable to the war effort or potential allies.
So we are comparing Federation to Nazis now, are we? Where is a moderator when you one... oh snap... :D

She's from a society that believes in the dominance of humanity over all other races in the universe. Even if the Federation's values are repugnant to her, I don't see Captain Killy allying herself with aliens to fight other humans. Not to mention, I can't imagine her crew willing to follow a Captain who collaborated with aliens. Besides, Lorca spent a year in the Prime Universe and still dedicated himself to fighting and killing Klingons.
Actually the terrans have no love for their own people they kill each other all the time. for terrans, the only thing that matters is power!
I can see killy allied with the Klingons if that allows her to dominate the quadrant

To be honest, I think the Klingons would probably just blew her ship up before she even had the chance to hail them. The ISS Discovery would be just another Federation ship for them. Or if they recognized it as the one that destroyed the Ship of the Dead, they might even attack it just for the glory.

I don't think the ISS Discovery can jump, although she was presumably built to. Unless she has a tardigrade...

I also await Admiral Cornwell briefly arresting Cadet Tilly next episode, with Tilly all confused for a moment. Too bad Tilly took off her mirror costume.

I actually thought for a bit that the ISS Discovery might contact Georgiou at some point and try to free her, then I realized that no one in the Mirror Universe has a working spore drive. That's actually one of the reasons I believe the ship has already been destroyed; without the spore drive, it's nothing but a glorified science ship and I don't think it could stand its ground against the Klingons for long.

Also, I think the fact that Cornwell is asking for Lorca when boarding the Discovery points to her not knowing about Captain Killy. She might fully believe that it was Lorca who snapped and committed whatever she's trying to arrest him for.

Shukar of Andor is back! Or at least his prime counterpart.

I think he would look great with ENT makeup

I wouldn't be surprised if the writers completely forgot about the whole ISS Discovery being stuck in Prime Universe. I don't think Captain Killy and ISS Discovery will come into play at all. :(

As starships go, the Discovery is off to an auspicious start: her captain was an imposter from the Mirror Universe, her chief of security is a Klingon operative in a human suit, and one of the bridge crew is Starfleet's first convicted mutineer. Hands down, the wackiest ship in the Navy.

I think that scene sets up quite clearly that they're making sure the crew of the Discovery isn't from the MU...

Don't forget about the Engineer who's tripping.

My prediction: ultimately the Klingon's are defeated by Lorca's hungry tribble

I really like this youtuber's videos. I get a laugh out of his askew grandpa-filming of the tv screen. It's kind of adorable.
Probably to try to foil Youtube copyright detection and enforcement.
