Ah, good, you still have a lot of wiggle room. I had a 500GB HDD with my old system, and 436 GB were in use. I was feeling the squeeze on that one.![]()
Aw, that's plenty

They've since binned that update software thankfully.

Now THAT is a close shave!Aw, that's plentyOur IT staff put some kind of antivirus and software updating program on the work computers at one point. Ok, we were starting off from a hard drive half that size, but because of the way it was sorting out updates for everything, one of my colleagues was left with 1mb free
(I think we had started on Win7 by that time)

Love it. Installed with no issues and runs like a dream. Turned off all the data-collecting shit I don't need, and programs like Cortana. No problems with drivers, graphic card or updates. The only thing I had to do was change Start menu back to Classic shell. Don't like the tile look![]()
There wasn't in this case, it just told me it had already removed it.
I haven't had to do this for 10 yet, but I recall doing it for 7 and Vista a bunch of times.
I thought I read that windows phones were dead?
I wasn't joking. You're on a dying platform:Hardy har har........... Not everyone is an iphone or Android junkie
I have a Nokia Lumia 520, which was promised Windows 10. Early this year Microsoft backed out on that promise, and now my Nokia will not receive the Windows 10 update. In fact, a LOT of phones that can easily handle Windows 10 have been denied the upgrade. While I love my Windows phone, I can honestly say my next phone will be an Android phone.Oddly there is a windows phone update to Windows 10 but you have to find it in some cases and it doesn't get found by the automatic updater that is part of the phone. I find that odd.
I did try it last night but it seemed a bit buggy so reverted back to 8.1 I thought maybe I had done something wrong.

Well I do, too, when my Windows 8.1 phone integrates properly into Windows 10, which isn't often.Well I love my phone as it is and 8.1 works perfectly so I'm really not bothered to update again unless it's forced. I like android but I like Windows more.
