SNW is way less worse than this 24/25 century stuff i agreeSNW is the best, and far better than most of the old 24th/25th century stuff.
Age "destroyed" the franchise. But it's still here, being what it can be.

I wouldn't say they destroyed the franchise, but they definitely made the whole of the franchise lesser.it was not Kurtzman alone, but simply this generation of star trek writers destroyed the franchise, they got the best job in the world and didnt make one really good star trek... LD is almost the best
we have more or less the same feelings about every specific seriesI wouldn't say they destroyed the franchise, but they definitely made the whole of the franchise lesser.
DISCO was terrible. SFA was not good. A lot of PICARD didn't work. SNW started off very well, and season 2 was pretty good with the exception of one REALLY bad dud, but season 3 was a massive letdown, overall. The less said about SECTION 31, the better.
LOWER DECKS and PRODIGY were the only true gems of the Kurtzman era.
What I mean by lesser is the overall quality of the whole is diluted and made lesser than before.I see more and more people trying out TOS and TNG because of newer Trek. If that's lesser than I don't think Star Trek needs more..it needs less content.
I agree. That's why no more needs to be made. What I mean by lesser is the overall quality of the whole is diluted and made lesser than before.
Take scotch, rum, etc. By itself, they are fantastic. But when you water it down, it's not as good as before. It's diluted.
Kurtzman era, when added to the rest, has diluted the franchise in much the same way.
I applaud him for trying a few things, and he DID try to be as broad as possible by trying to guve something for every kind of fan. It just didn't work out as well as hoped.

Strange New Worlds has fan issues: ill say it. if you have a problem with SNW, the problem is probably inherent in you.
People have issues with shows for all different kinds of reasons.

how... convenientif you have a problem with SNW, the problem is probably inherent in you.
Um, no. That’s like saying that if you have a problem with the person currently running the government, the problem is probably inherent in you. Which is not the case.
But I agree with all the other stuff you said.
The show I wanted had less hijinks and love triangles and bullshit space magic and bad comedy and more Star Trek.Strange New Worlds has fan issues: ill say it. if you have a problem with SNW, the problem is probably inherent in you. Some people just like to complain. Some people wanted a time machine to make more episodes exactly like whatever period of time in their lives they liked the best and connect to Star Trek. it wasn't going to happen. This is the show you wanted, people. If you're too dumb to remember that, it's not anyone else's fault.
That’s 1000% valid — but positions like that (“This doesn’t work for me”) I totally respect. Positions like (“This sucks, not like the shows I liked! Because it is bad!”), I generally can’t.Eh, I’ve watched a little bit and it just doesn’t click for me.
