I pride myself for listening as little as possible to people of... questionable character. Still, I find it unbearably funny that the apparently self-styled "Doctor of Democracy" isn't either a doctor or, well, democratic.Well...if you listened to the show as much as you seem to let on (what with your assumptions about what he "advocates")...you'd have heard that nickname at least once.
That was the first Gibson novel I read, when it was serialized in Asimov's. Count Zero interrupt!
Haven't tried that place. I'll have to check it out. Though, I'm a vegetarian...Guess my husband might like it.
Actually, I want to tell you to avoid it. Place has really gone downhill the last few years (especially since the original owner died). Though I haven't been there in two years, so it might have improved. You can get a better burger at Chilis, though.

My husband loves the Olive Garden. I'm not so big on Italian, though, myself. Too heavy. (Mexican is too heavy too for me... but I like the salads.
I know, I'm a hard woman to please.

I was vegetarian at one time. I loved every minute of it. Eventually, however, I couldn't afford it while trying to feed three other people as well.

This makes me wonder about the kind of Italian food you had. A large part of Italian cuisine, like most Mediterranean food, is composed of uncooked/lightly cooked vegetables and lean meat.
