Why did you choose your login name and avatar?

I am just a gigantic fan of those lovely cockroach movies, y'see.

When I was a kid (and I was a kid when I joined this board) I had a stuffed kangaroo puppet named Mimic. I tacked on '47' to make it 'mimic47' because at the time most people had numbers added to their names, and I wanted to be like everybody else. The numbers have since been removed. I suppose you can see that without my announcing it.

My Trekbbs fantasy football team is named "Ciabatta Wawa." Originally ESPN just named me Team C---- after my last name, which mrcoaster deemed too boring, so I went to Wawa.com and wrote the first word that I saw, which was Ciabatta because they were advertising some sandwich, and I cleverly combined the two.

The avatar changes fairly frequently. I was trying to photoshop Colbert and Stewart in place of The Doctor and The Master, but no pictures that I found of Colbert worked well. It probably works better with just The Doctor and Jon Stewart anyway.

My Holiday name is Gingerbread Girl because I love to bake Christmas cookies! Current avatar is my cat, Eddie, unhappily wearing a Santa hat.

I'm Kira's Mom because my other cat, Kira, thought I was her mom. Sadly, Kira is no longer with me.

My nickname involves a crashed lamp and the string of Christmas lights that I used to replace it.. and yes they still hang on that wall, I've never bought a new lamp...

As for my current avatar, thats a machine called Bagger 260 which is a 7800 ton bucket wheel excavator used to remove overburden and coal from a strip mine.
Its a smaller "cousin" of Bagger 288 and 293 which are the largest moving machines on the planet.
