USS Liberty
USS Vanquish
USS Scourge
Seems a bit jingoistic for the Federation, don't you?
Since the Vengeance class is largely automated, it would be a massively useful ship for disaster relief and colony support missions. Starfleet would be extremely foolish to just discard it simply because of its wartime origins.
Zaius was the top ape in that franchise. Unrelenting, tough, intelligent and was mission-oriented and not flighty (in other words, unlike most American politicians). He's the only POTA character deserving to have a ship named for him.
Oh, yeah? At least Roddy McDowall's death scenes are on camera. Not so with ROSEMARY'S BABY or BENEATH THE PLANET. And like certain many politicians, Zaius ignored critical facts when it suited him. He might win an arm wrestling match with Cornelius, but that doesn't bring negate his dishonorability.![]()
I didn't know that
And there was a previous Bellerophon that was destroyed at Wolf 359. We see it in DS9's pilot ep.
Every time the Bellerophon comes up I am annoyed all over again that the C-57-D doesn't have a real name.
