Who and what do you want to become starship names?

I'm surprised the future Federation either TNG or Disco didn't revisit the Vengeance design it was rather oool.

I loved the guns that come out of the saucer on the Vengeance

Since the Vengeance class is largely automated, it would be a massively useful ship for disaster relief and colony support missions. Starfleet would be extremely foolish to just discard it simply because of its wartime origins.

I think it could have been fully crewed as well the automation could probably be scaled back

Zaius was the top ape in that franchise. Unrelenting, tough, intelligent and was mission-oriented and not flighty (in other words, unlike most American politicians). He's the only POTA character deserving to have a ship named for him.

Oh, yeah? At least Roddy McDowall's death scenes are on camera. Not so with ROSEMARY'S BABY or BENEATH THE PLANET. And like certain many politicians, Zaius ignored critical facts when it suited him. He might win an arm wrestling match with Cornelius, but that doesn't bring negate his dishonorability.:borg:

Cornelius (not McDowall) ran when then going got tough in Beneath the Planet of the Apes (which was actor David Watson in any case), but Zaius--despite attempting to talk down Ursus from leaping from a militaristic ledge--did not run, or even try to, as Taylor launched the missile. Boss move, deserving a ship named for him. On the other hand, Stafleet would not look too strong naming a ship the U.S.S. 'Got The Hell Outta There, aka the Cornelius.
