There are three vessels with that name. Linky
And there are two ships named USS Cochrane. One is the Oberth-class ship often seen in TNG, the other was one of the ships seized by the Borg in PIC ("Vox").
There are also a lot of ships (and a spacedock) named after Jonathan Archer.
In the MU, there is probably an ISS Trump. That would be rather fitting, wouldn't it?

A name that does not have Earth or North American cultural connotations, its supposed to be an intergalatic combined service. Where is the USS T'Pol, USS Shran, USS .......alien name?
