Which is the BEST episode of Voyager??

^^
You do have some points here. But some of the things they came up with for the Ocampa is downright silly.

As for aliens, I would like to see some more "alien" aliens, not just humanoids with ridges on their noses or strange forheads. In that case, non-humanoid races with different reproductive processes would be more realistic.

On top of all that, they have some type of telepathic sense and telekinetic ability.

That was the best with the Ocampa. That was what made them very interesting.

So many great episodes, so I will do best from each season:

Season 1: State of Flux
Season 2: Death Wish
Season 3: Before and After
Season 4: Year of Hell
Season 5: Timeless
Season 6: Pathfinder
Season 7: Lineage

My problem with "Elogium" is how the Ocampa was ruined as a species in that episode.

It was not enough with the unrealistic lifespan. Here comes even more. Ocampa can have only one child per lifetime, Ocampa females freak out and eat beetles, they got sticky fingers, have to have sex for a couple of days (or hours, or whatever it was) and before that one of the woman's parents must massage her feet until her tongue swells!

And they deliver their child from the back!

When you put it like that it sounds like David Attenborough should be narrating.

"Caretaker" and "Future's End" are the first eps that come to mind. "Relativity" is fun, too.

She was only one years old in Elogium.

The point was that her breeding cycle was triggered early, way too early, but if it was real, there was a good chance that it wasn't going to happen again when she was three, when it was supposed to happen.

I loved watching the crew go through his memories. Especially the one where he's drawing a naked Seven and Janeway says "He does the hands very well", in a matter-of-fact way:lol:

I liked her disapproving look in that scene. Hahaha.

"Nice touch." In reference to the pips.

The curl of Paris lip in the briefing room.

The softened expression when Janeway learns his intentions were out of love.

My Favorite is Year of Hell, because to my mind, it's the most mythic Trek episode ever. My problem with the first couple of years of Voyager is that is was hopelessly mundane; YoH, however, is Wagnerian in scope. Two people--Janeway and Annorax--who fight not only against each other, but time, fate, and death itself. It's why I don't have a problem with the ending. The final struggle is apocalyptic, and like all mythic apocalypses, the universe itself is reborn.

I really like Year of Hell.

I also like Lineage, because it reveals that congenital scoliosis is a common trait among Klingons. For that reason alone, it speaks more to me than 99% of Trek episodes.

"Friendship One", duh!

Oh, sorry, this is a BEST thre-

I'm not a Voyager expert, so of my limited knowledge, I'll have to go with "Death Wish". It's a great ep for the VOY gang, one of Q's best hours (and his best non-TNG appearance), and Riker. What more do ya want?!

Q apparently only cares about white dudes.
