Kira has no direct link to Picard that we know of, although that can be established if needed. I do think her character has a number of qualities that would make me think that she would have at the very least, very strong sympathies for the Rangers, if not an impulse to join them.

If they're already doing Picard, eventually they'll make something that follows up on DS9 in some way. I'm sure of it. As it is PIC is more conductive to having TNG and VOY elements than DS9. Free Cloud was where having anything DS9-related made the most sense, thus the mention of Quark.

We don't need to have everything in Picard. They need to save some stuff for other series they'll have set in the 25th Century. I'd rather the re-introduction of characters not be forced.

Since there's like 5 or 6 more Trek shows coming up, I think that's a safe bet.

Them: TNG is the best! But Season 1 sucks! It's so '80s! And Season 2 sucks because of the Writer's Strike and Doctor Pulaski! They ran out of steam in Season 7 too! And I hate every Troi episode! Oh, and Wil Wheaton's okay, but don't even get me started about Wesley!
