Agreed, esp about Now & Again, that show was just so special. Simply awesomeSince we're paying no attention to the OP and including short-lived series, I'll second Now and Again and throw in Dark Skies. There'd have to be some fancy footwork to keep Eric Close in both
but both shows had enormous potential and deserved an opportunity to realise it.
Part of me will always miss Magnum, PI because that show provided me not only with my first crush, but gave me a real male role model, (since my own Dad was a such a jerk). Of course, it ended 20 years ago, and some of the cast have passed away, but it was a HUGE part of my childhood.
^ I would second those...I would add "The O.C." despite the lack luster second and third seasons that show was awesome. Christmaku!

I miss Deadwood. The characters were fascinating--beautiful and horrible at the same time. There were still a lot of stories there to tell.
Less historical revisionism and more "goodies vs. baddies" please.
That and Seinfeld.Frasier.
