What TV shows do you miss?

Did a quick check on Amazon and I was AMAZED to find The Equalizer Season 1 DVD :D:beer::techman::beer::D

Can you say 2-day Prime?? ;)

Deep Space 9
Firefley
Stargate SG1
The Adventures of Lano and Woodley
Coupling
Red Dwarf
JAG
The Pretender
Get Smart
Bewitched
The Glass House

Since we're paying no attention to the OP and including short-lived series :D, I'll second Now and Again and throw in Dark Skies. There'd have to be some fancy footwork to keep Eric Close in both  but both shows had enormous potential and deserved an opportunity to realise it.
Agreed, esp about Now & Again, that show was just so special. Simply awesome

Hmm, its hard to list that many. Depends how you define "miss", because I may still love shows that are dead and gone, but I don't mind they're gone. It's best to end it and leave it be.
So here are some great shows I used to watch and love, and still love on DVD, but I hapilly accept the fact they're over.

Buffy, Angel, DS9, Firefly, Spaced, I'm Alan Partridge, The UK Office, The Fast Show, TNG,

The only really exception I can think of is ENT, which I would have loved to have seen continue and do great things in the latter seasons ala DS9

Part of me will always miss Magnum, PI because that show provided me not only with my first crush, but gave me a real male role model, (since my own Dad was a such a jerk). Of course, it ended 20 years ago, and some of the cast have passed away, but it was a HUGE part of my childhood.

Which cast members have died?

Gillian Dobb, who played Agatha, and Elisha Cook Jr, who played Ice Pick.

Jonathan Hillerman, Higgins, is now 76 and retired from performing.

Damn straight! That show was brilliant!

Let's see:

The West Wing (pre-Sorkin's exit)
Stargate SG-1 - pre-Ori (exc. for Adrea - there's always room for Morena Baccarin!)
Jake 2.0
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
UFO

Since it has only been mentioned twice in this thread:

Earth 2

There was so much potential in that show.

I miss Deadwood. The characters were fascinating--beautiful and horrible at the same time. There were still a lot of stories there to tell.

I too loved Deadwood, but felt the cursing was way over the top. Some I realize was important to set the stage/mood of the rough frontier, but it wasn't even authentic to the time period. Ruins the show for many. My wife for one refused to watch for that reason, and we usually love watching those kind of dramas together. It's a shame.

/\ couldn't agree with you more.
I just love the western genre, and when done right tv is it's best hope of survival.(see Lonesome dove). But so many kids today don't know about or care about "cowboy shows",that despite some valiant attempts the genre is heading for extinction.
Less historical revisionism and more "goodies vs. baddies" please.

Even though i hated the first two seasons of Ent i was really getting into by season 4 and was really sad to see it end.

Also i should have said red dwarf.
I also liked a show called Bramwell but i don't think anybody here has heard of it.
