What TV shows do you miss?

Any votes for DEADWOOD???

Several, yes. I would have loved to see what they would do with the fire that destroyed the town...

Dead Like Me

^-- Those are all the shows that have ended that I think there should have been at least a season more of.

Well, at least there's a movie coming for this one...

Is this still a go? I am soooo excited-loved this show!

It's already been shot. From what I gather the DVDs should be coming out something in the Summer or early Fall. Hopefully more info is forthcoming...

...But as the question at the start of the thread suggested the series would hypothetically (if, indeed, improbably) remain at the same level of quality as it had previous been at, Frasier would be my pick.

Oh, yes. So it did. :p In that case, I have to agree with you. Still, there's always reruns. :D

"Batman Beyond" and "Teen Titans" comes to mind. I miss both shows.

Edit: One more to add - "Exo Squad".

^ I would second those...I would add "The O.C." despite the lack luster second and third seasons that show was awesome. Christmaku!

I would've liked to see TNG do the Dominion War and the Reconstruction.

Highlander could've gone a couple of more years, if AP had been willing. (Adrian Paul is from England, but I'm not going to even try to guess the accent.)

The Golden Girls...I think that could've gone on until they all died and still been funny and touching.

The Crow...it was a good series that died abruptly due to the coincidence of a studio sell out at the same time as an anti-violence crusade.

I would like to still be able to go to the Buffyverse, and Star Trek, and Highlander. I wish President Bartlet had won a third term, or we were able to see the Santos Administration.

Since we're paying no attention to the OP and including short-lived series :D, I'll second Now and Again and throw in Dark Skies. There'd have to be some fancy footwork to keep Eric Close in both  but both shows had enormous potential and deserved an opportunity to realise it.

Some sort of conclusion to Earth 2 would have been nice, too.

You hear anything make sure you post a thread-you'll make me, my wife, her best friend and about 6 other people we know very happy. Karma will love you.;)

Perhaps, but they'd have to lose Sophie after few more seasons with Getty's Alzheimier's. Then it wouldn't be the same.

A number of classics. SMART Twilight Zones not the spoon fed, dumbed down last two versions.

F Troop (while it made everyone look like an idiot, regardless of race, there's no way it could get done today)

The Carol Burnett Show (great cast, great sketches)

The Ed Sullivan Show (but variety is way too expensive and you can't replace Ed)

Bewitched (what straight American boy didn't love Elizabeth Montgomery?)

The Hollywood Squares (but only with Peter Marshall hosting and stars who aren't C- and D-list)

The Dick Van Dyke Show/The Mary Tyler Moore Show (they could rotate each week)

SMART Twilight Zones not the spoon fed, dumbed down last two versions.

I didn't think the 80's version was dumbed down. It was my favorite out of all three, in fact. Some of those eps (like Dead Run, The Misfortune Cookie, and A Small Talent For War) really creeped me the hell out.

I'm not talking about shows that came and went in the blink of an eye, like 'Firefly'

Firefly, of course, but that's an obvious pick around here.

Firefly. The biggest example of wasted potential ever.

Shows which never got an honest-to-goodness fair chance to begin with:

Firefly

Can't always get what you ask for. ;)

^ The fact that so many people would love to have more of it to me is a clear sign that it didn't just "come and go in the blink of an eye".
Of course if you're not a fan it didn't really change your life and you don't quite care, but if you are a fan, then it is worth mentioning in your list.
