What games are you playing currently?

I finished Submerged and got all the achievements, was such a nice relaxing game, ended up getting the sequel, Submerged Hidden Depths.

OK amusing thing on socials and on youtube I don't know if the company is any good but Funcom never heard of them. But they claim to be putting out a Dune game, based on the movies.

Already did and the one you are talking about is their second Dune game...
The first one is a RTS, like the OG Dune game:

Very interesting

I am at about half way through Submerged Hidden Depths and I want more of this, I want a nice open world game like this with no combat, just to chill at your own pace and not be forced to rush. Where are the games that offer all that? Also no death minus odd game bugs like falling out the map. lol

I finished Far: Lone Sails and I started playing it's sequel Far: Changing Tides.
I'll start playing Star Wars: Outlaws later today.

Picked up Star Wars: Outlaws, last night. Doesn't reinvent the wheel, but is solidly entertaining in the hour-or-so I got to play last night.
I bought it as well. I’m hoping it turns out like Jedi; Fallen Order which was an enjoyable but imperfect game but it led to Jedi: Survivor which was great (minus the bugs some experienced at launch). So far my only complaint is that the stealth could be better. You’d think Ubisoft would have better stealth design or at least borrow some of the better elements of AC tiles but nope it’s standard boring EA type stealth.

That said, the characters are fun, setting is great, and the story setup is good. Dunno how the story will play out but it’s been interesting so far.

World of Warcraft's The War Within expansion has been pretty solid on quests. The main story is engaging and takes you through all the zones with a small group of characters. The side quests (local stories now) are mostly zone specific but give you clarity about the peoples in those zones and are well done. The stories are an improvement on Dragonflight's questing as things seem connected better and better thought out.

Uncharted Legacy Of Thieves Collection. Fun. It's got two games A Thief's Legacy which closes the story on Nathan Drake and The Lost Legacy, both very fun games but the main game feels a little too long while Lost Legacy feels just about right in length.

EDIT: I got dysentery.

Yes I got that again. I just played the new version of The Oregon Trail and I got that damned ending. I thought after all these years I'd get something else if I played the new version. But nope I died

Picked up Astro Bot for the PS5, today. Fun stuff and makes great use of the controller.

I've been playing the single player mode for Star Trek Bridge Commander using the new Legacy mod. The author did a good job with it. Using the newer high def ship mods and hard points available. The game looks so much better with no crashing. My only gripe was the lack of multiple phaser arrays being able to fire simultaneously from the Sovereign and Galaxy classes so I fixed that. ;)

Bridge Commander is a great Star Trek game. It is sad that there are so few out there.

Thinking back to those days there were so many decent Trek games coming out I couldn't afford to buy them all being a poor student. Armada 1 and 2, Elite Force, Bridge Commander, Starfleet and Klingon Academies to name a few. Activision was on point for the most part. Now what do we have?

The only ones I played lots of were those FMV games with the Borg and Klingons that came out in the late 90s early 2000s

I just finished Guardians Of The Galaxy for the last time. Overall a fun game but a little bit buggy here and there. The only game I am not removing is Horizon Forbidden West. I just love that one more than any of my others

I managed to get Star Trek Voyager: The Arcade Game up and running on my PC. It's hilarious as it features character designs of aliens ("the Psorarians") who look like they belong in a tacky 00s CGI children's cartoon, burping Borg that suddenly rush up on Voyager with no warning, and a random selection of aliens from various episodes thrown together without any context to shoot at.

Unless you're patient enough to set up MAME to play it, I'd probably give it a miss as it's not that great and more worth playing out of curiosity than actual fun. Check out the Youtube video though, it's super funny.
