What games are you playing currently?

Devil May Cry 4....been doing this a lot lately, playing legacy games, since the release window for major titles that i look forward to has been getting longer and longer between...the last "new" game I played was probably GOW: Ragnarok...

thinking about going back to play FF9...also have an SNES emulator and you know what? many of those games are still fun to play....it's not necessarily about how pretty a game is, it's about the fun factor...the prettiest game in the world is pointless if it's not fun, it's what Nuno Bettencourt once called

"Chocolate Covered Sh*t...it might look appetizing, but do you want to taste it?"

Has anyone play Star Wars Outlaws, or Star Wars Jedi Survivor on steam?
I've played them both on my PS5 and I enjoyed the both. Based on online information (from sources like Digital Foundry) Survivor is quite the stutter fest on PC. Outlwars runs well OTOH.

I'm currently playing Hogwarts Legacy. Good game, but I'm rather surprised at how washed out it looks at times, which I hear is a known issue. Seems like it's a renderer issue tied to HDR. Only problem is I only have a simple HDTV with no HDR, so I can't really adjust those things, so the effect is not only really washed out, but flat looking visuals as well, making it look like a PS3 game at times.

Figured out my issue with Hogwarts Legacy. Apparently the developers stripped out any form of shaders and color mapping when using any mode other than Fidelity with Raytracing. Switching it to Fidelity with Raytracing made the game look normal, like it should have in the first place. Honestly, I'm quite surprised the developers managed to mess up something so basic. The minute I switched to Fidelity with Ray Tracing, the game looked much better. The colours popped, the faces looked better and the world didn't look washed out most of the time, and I don't even have a TV that does HDR.

I think I am getting the hang of No Man’s Sky. Even with the duplication glitch, it is still a bit of a grind.
I need to find another ship.

Started a new game of Saboteur. Very satisfying to blow up anti-aircraft guns, and sentry towers

I love that game.

I got the last trophy for Star Trek Resurgence. Some of the trophies were a bit glitchy but we got there in the end.

I think the developer has abandoned the game too which is sad.

Currently playing Rebel Galaxy Outlaw on my PC. Loved the first game, and this prequel is more of the same, but from a 1st-person POV.

I'm going to go back to Star Wars Outlaws once I'm done with my steam stuff.

Anyone know of a good jigsaw puzzle game that has pictures of art, people, buildings, also lets you use your own photos and has sound. It's very hard to find something like that without wading through poopy programs

I've been playing Outcast: A New Beginning for the past two weeks or so. The game has it's problems, but overall I'm enjoying myself.

I played it several years ago and I think it's a great remake as far as things go. Stays true to the original version while making it playable on newer hardware. Haven't tried the sequel yet though.

I started The Outer Worlds 2

It's not grabbing me like the first game. I think I enjoyed that one way, way more, including both of the DLC packs. This one is a struggle to keep playing and that's why I only just started again after leaving it at the start of December.

That's disappointing to hear. I loved the humour in the first game and I was getting excited about the sequel.

Made quite a bit of progress in Hogwarts Legacy, but I still struggle with the combat. It feels very uneven in terms of difficulty. My main issue is that there are just too many spells and not enough different spell wheels or whatever you call them, even when you unlock all of available space for them, and the issue is made worse while playing on a console. It makes the combat feel unnerving and more difficult, and I've often switched to a different spell wheel without noticing just because there's so much going on when you're being surrounded by so many enemies. This is my main gripe with the game. I would hope that they would refine this in the sequel by making the spells contextual based on what you're pointing at and streamline the experience. Seriously, combat is not that fun with a controller in this game due to this issue.

not playing it but i just bought off of walmart online, Dragon Quest I and II HD Collection for Nintendo Switch from the local walmart in town.

i aint going out in the cold today. id rather order it off of online and have it delivered in an hour or so.

Made more progress in Outer Worlds 2 and yeah it really doesn't feel the same as the original as I said earlier. I did most of the stuff on the 1st world you land on, most of the 2nd world, and now I'm off to the next one. I only just picked up my first crew companion on the 2nd world. I still haven't unlocked a 4th weapon slot and even that has all changed the way you handle weapons, modes and things. It's like they changed things just for the sake of changing them. It's disappointing.

I think I was having more fun with Dead Island 2 and that's a shitty game.

I like this compilation of big game maps
