What games are you playing currently?

Just started Mass Effect 3 for the first time, via the Legendary Edition. I'd played the first two before, but never the 3rd, and these last several months had me do a replay of them for the lead up to the 3rd.

ME 3 is terrific. Never played the legendary edition as I have them all separately. What's the difference in versions is Legendary all one big download and not separate, or is it just cosmetic?

I love all three of the ME games, except for the terrible endings of ME 3.
I have read that you now have more ending choices

Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga. What a lovely and lovingly made game this is, could almost be described as open-world.

After many hours of playing I must confess to switching the music off, though. As beautiful as it still sounds after a wee while it began to grate on me:lol:

Yeah I really enjoyed playing The Skywalker Saga.

All three ME games have been updated / improved for the Legendary edition. We're talking updated graphics and gameplay plus other quality of life improvements. Here's more info.

Yeah, they're basically remastered versions of all 3 in a single package. That's the best way to sum it up.

I must say, I kind of feel taken aback by how different ME3 feels to ME2. But then, I was also taken aback by ME2 after completing the first game. They all feel rather different when it comes to controlling the character, but at the same time it feels tighter.

And Is it just me or does Liara feel very different between 1, 2, and 3? I don't mean so much in terms of how the character changed between all three, but in terms of writing, her character felt very different in ME2. It felt like a different writer wrote her and she didn't quite feel like the same character that she was in the first game, colder and more distant. But she appears to be more like she was in ME1 in ME3.

Red Dead Redemption (on the PS3 cuz my generic PS4 controller battery died and I'm too broke to afford another one--suckola).

@BigFoot Dude, the Legendary ME edition is gorgeous. I found a steam copy on Kinguin for like $20 and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. The Origin browser is trash.

i finally did the Sith dark ending in Force Unleashed 1 by beating Darth Vader. then later ill be playing the DLC mission quests.

I had to get a gift card and added the funds on the Playstation store website. then hooked up my Playstation 2 to get the Force Unleashed DLC stuff. Even had a little bit left over and bought one of the Red Sun DLC outfits for Injustice Gods Among Us

Finished Starfield. I started NG+ but haven't really played it. Phantom Liberty came out so I'm re-playing Cyberpunk with the Phantom Liberty expansion. I don't quite understand the builds in Phantom Liberty just yet (I usually let the numbers people dream up builds and I will take a premade and tweak from there) but even without that the improvements are huge. I always loved the quick hacks/netrunner stuff (I only played it post-netrunner patch) and even without a formal build you can tell how much better it is. Driving still sucks in that game tho. I absolutely hate it and there's no reason for it to be so bad but it is. They join a long list of games that can't make driving work. Horses? No problem. Spaceships? Great. Full on airplane sims? We can teach you from scratch how to fly a real one. Cars? Unless, it's Mario Kart, the video game industry makes this everyday activity the most difficult thing you'll ever do.

I should get into the new content of Phantom Liberty soon. It begins when you find out more about Evelyn so fairly early in the playthrough depending on which quests you do first. I'm very much looking forward to getting into the meat of the new story content.

Yeah I also finished Starfield last night. I've started NG+ after i finished all the Factions storylines and some of the side quests. I think I'm done with the game for now though. I'm still deciding what I'm gonna play next.

I might've squeezed some more out of it but there's a lot of good stuff out right now and tbh, had I any clue that the Creation Kit wouldn't be out until later, I'd have held off buying the game. There's no reason at all for it not to be day 1 and I can tell by what's on the Nexus that a lot of people are just using the Fallout/Skyrim Creation Kits to do very simple mods - basic stuff like changing armor values or replacing colors. But script extender SFSE was out day 1 and for the background on that - skse (skyrim script extender) is what makes complicated mods work. That the modding community was prepared that early while Bethesda hasn't gotten the creation kit out to anyone else but a select few is unforgivable.TBH, it screams - we're about to try paid modding yet again. But no mods right now and no way for me to piddle around with my own unless I want to fire up the Fallout or Skyrim CK = game over for now.

Question for you - did you have any physics issues near the end of your Starfield playthrough? It's like the game was nearly bug free until the final few hours and then I started getting things like objects exploding when I open doors or flying everywhere. A very old Skyrim bug

And fwiw, Phantom Liberty is very good. I got into it last night. The base game combat is much improved and I never thought the base combat was bad but it was more limited if you wanted to play a netrunner. Now it's pretty great if you want to do a netrunner build. Even monowire works out well

^ Well first of all, I'm playing it on the Series X, so the Creation Kit isn't something I think or care about. Hell, I didn't even get into ship or outpost building. It just isn't something that interests me. I didn't even actually buy the game, I got it with Game Pass. ;)

Anyway, yeah I noticed a few very small physics glitches. Like dead enemies just floating around (and no, I wasn't in Zero G) or clipping through walls. But to be honest, the glitches were very rare and not very intrusive. So compared to something like Skyrim, which was terrible on the PS3, this was a much much better experience.

I'm looking forward to playing Phantom Liberty (and CP2077 2.0) but I think I'll wait for a price drop (of PL) before I get it. I have so many other games to play at the moment.

I have been busy trying to finish all the content in the new saints row so have forgotten Starfield for a bit. I am having a lot more fun then I had expected I would with that game. Starfield will be good to dive into as it made me remember The Outer Worlds for some weird reason and that was a game that had me having lots of fun. I have done a little bit of ground and space combat in Starfield and so far it's fun. I can't wait to design my ship. Donut ship here I come, I shall name her The Detmer

I never played Rome 2 but the live action trailer still looks good after ten years.
