So, is there an official explanation as to why the Dandelion narration we hear on the loading screens in the Witcher games is so different from Dandelion's actual voice? The first time it occured to me in the first game, it took me quite a while to make the connection that it was one and the same and that game doesn't exactly go out of its way to explain that the narrator of the diary entries is Dandelion. I mean, it really doesn't sound like the same person at all. One sounds like a gruff narrator, the other a higher-pitched energetic voice. Made me think that maybe it's a difference between his public persona and literary voice. Or maybe it's Dandelion's attempt at trying to mimic Geralt
