What games are you playing currently?

So, is there an official explanation as to why the Dandelion narration we hear on the loading screens in the Witcher games is so different from Dandelion's actual voice? The first time it occured to me in the first game, it took me quite a while to make the connection that it was one and the same and that game doesn't exactly go out of its way to explain that the narrator of the diary entries is Dandelion. I mean, it really doesn't sound like the same person at all. One sounds like a gruff narrator, the other a higher-pitched energetic voice. Made me think that maybe it's a difference between his public persona and literary voice. Or maybe it's Dandelion's attempt at trying to mimic Geralt

Maybe there are two Dandelions and they hate each other.

I've been looking into Starfinder recently (sort of like D & D in space), and I like aspects of it. But a number of players have mentioned issues with elements of the class mechanics, and I found it odd that the core rulebook (and associated books) never give any descriptions for how starship weapons are intended to function. They're pretty good at other descriptions, even if only on a basic level.

Yeah, that bugged me when I finally ran into Dandelion in The Witcher III.

I bought a PS4 Pro bundled with Insomniac’s Spider-Man game a few months back and have not regretted it one bit...
One of the best games I have ever played.
Incidentally, I have never owned a console before. Always been a PC game player.

Started a new game on Horizon Zero Dawn. An inventive story and solid gameplay mechanics make it a winner. Probably one of the best games I've ever played.

Agreed. I've got the complete edition and fell in love with it. I spend a lot of time taking photos because the game world is gorgeous.

Still stuck on that bloody robot bird level for the past year. One day I'll do it, :)

Finally figured out how to lock pick in Skyrim! (the Switch version) Just took me around 14 picks  (two tries). Glad that bit is over for now. Also raced a bit in Mario Kart and played some Pokemon Quest.

Finally finished Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and geez that was underwhelming.

What pisses me off about this game is that some stuff is done off screen, like for instance
Trinity is defeated off screen
while you are on your way to the main bad guy who goes down in a very simple fight that took all of 4 minutes. That was underwhelming. And the story was suck.

Now doing a small hunt for documents and collectibles. I'm finding that more fun then the actual main game.

I pretty much never take photos in games, but I took so many in Horizon because it's just such a gorgeous game.

I'd don't do photos in games, but there was one I time I wished I had recorded a few minutes in one of the Arkham games. I had been fighting with a stealth area for a while, and I eventually managed to set up a perfect string of the types of take downs you see all the time in the Batman movies and comics. In all the years of I've played video games it was the only time I've ever found myself wanting to share or at least record something I did.

Playing Celeste.

This might have the best designed platforming mechanics ever. I finished the main story and now working on finding the crystal hearts. I found the ones in stages 3 and 4, and the B sides of stages 1 and 2. A little stumped at the moment by the heart in stage 2 with the cryptic poem that implies you have to go to the same place in a dream, but I checked every square in the area that it would be.
