I'm not saying it does. It's just what the evidence says, and I go by that. I'm not saying it makes sense at all.So they turned it back to the way it looked 10 years before? (the previously on used Season 1 footage for the exterior of the Enterprise, not 'The Cage') How does that make sense?
Spock: "An ancestor of mine maintained, when you have eliminated the impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."
The video evidence shows the bridges are different. That they are the same is impossible on side by side inspection.
As such, when we have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
Improbable as it is, the Enterprise went through a refit between Cage and Disc, and another Disc and TOS. It might be as simple as a voice command that easily reconfigures the bridge like a desktop theme.
Using Spock (and Sherlock Holmes) logic here.
