On the Defiant? They did add pop-up phaser turrets, and did show weapons action in great detail in general.
Just look at photos of the ANOVOS and Eaglemoss models, they’re made from the Season 2 assets.I still haven't rewatched often enough to be able to tell whether there are other phasers there, say, atop the stern or at the very bottom of the secondary hull.
The final scene with the Discovery destroying the Sarcophagus they seem to be coming out of the front of the Saucer. But you're right, there is nothing really visible there. The Discovery has no such greeblies. But she may have lots of sliding doors; the CGI artists can add those at their leisure if they ever decide to show torpedo action up close, and not contradict anything.
Where? I don't see anything in the episode footage. And the ENT Defiant made the pop-up guns explicit
Yeah, for me, the 'split and swept' pylons are my main complaint. Had they either not had them swept OR not had them be split in the center, I would have been 100% fine with it myself. The only difference between John’s final design and what we got are the pylons as far as I can tell.
The TOS Enterprise had a lot of red. This would have been great for a "Phase II" or pre-TMP adventure; it looks like the TOS ship could have been refit *into* this version..... but no way could it be Pike / April's. The visual reboot thing is still the biggest nagging complaint about the show. Its very difficult to move past. Very glad for the TOS colors, but the weird collars on the uniforms throw me off. When they finally show the interior of the "E", I hope it doesn't yet have the red paint everywhere.
The TOS Enterprise had a lot of red.
This is 3 years after the Cage, could have gotten a paint job.Not when Pike was Captain.
The term is a corruption of the term fuckton, as in metric fuckton.Aren't photon torpedoes of the 23rd and 24th centuries (and to a similar though lesser and not-as-advanced extent the photonic torpedoes developed by the United Earth Starfleet around 2153 and likely using knowledge gleaned from taking scans of Klingon photon torpedoes) antimatter warheads placed inside a warp-capable casing with engines? I don't know how a photon torpedo can be just light or a mass of energy fired from an external hardpoint unless there's a definition of photon torpedo I'm unaware of or isn't considered canon.![]()
In Soviet Russia the system metrics you.I don't use that commie metric system.
So, can't repaint? Not when Pike was Captain.
