I swear the Archer Type is the perfect size for a small Single-Digit Crew Scout Ship to go exploring.
My only contention is the mounting of the base of the pylon, I wish it had a built in flush StarDrive section mounted to the aft of the saucer.
This way the StarDrive section can house the connection point that links up to Warp Nacelle.

He didn't design this, but it's clear the designer was either asked to or chose to base it off his Constitution

Considering the context of its first appearance, a very retro looking Starship was the perfect choice.

It also represents the final stake in the heart of Roddenberry’s bullshit “rules of starship design”, forbidding odd-numbered engines (in the Prime Universe, and without dual warp coils).
