Ian Vicknair has posted some sky backgrounds from Strange New Worlds episodes on his ArtStation, including one of the Enterprise docked at Starbase One (I assume it was for the "sign the scorch" scene during the "Enterprise bingo" subplot). You can get a really good look at the environmental domes, and the details in the docking band.

I never really thought about it until Strange New Worlds, but I actually really love the idea of the secondary hull basically just being three big rooms.I was watching one of the Season 1 BTS videos on the blu-ray, and spotted that engineering cutaway from the concept art on one of the engineering consoles. This was animated though
Not sure if it’s visible in any episodes

It really isn't too far off from what we saw in TMP. A massive shuttlebay, a large cargo bay, and Main Engineering.I never really thought about it until Strange New Worlds, but I actually really love the idea of the secondary hull basically just being three big rooms.![]()
Utterly mad that they show it closer to the "too big to fit" scale and not their own fudged one. Love it.I was watching one of the Season 1 BTS videos on the blu-ray, and spotted that engineering cutaway from the concept art on one of the engineering consoles. This was animated though

The Star Trek Starships Die Cast Collection by Fanhome calls the type of the Farragut the Bellerophon Class in the PDF flyer. We have to wait and see if this name gets confirmed in the magazine of issue 3, due for release in January 2025. If so, we have two licensed names for this class.Interesting! Non-canon, in Star Trek Online this ship type is referred to as the Farragut class.
Another thing, they coloured the pennants red, when in Season 2 and STO they were a dark grey. The Star Trek Starships Die Cast Collection by Fanhome calls the type of the Farragut the Bellerophon Class in the PDF flyer. In game everyone I know (including myself), refers to it as the Disco-prise.Interesting! Non-canon, in Star Trek Online this ship type is referred to as the Farragut class.
Was Una's single-nacelled ship given a class designation, by the way?
That’s for the Connies but I meant the maybe-Saladin class. In game everyone I know (including myself), refers to it as the Disco-prise.
And the JJ Abrams version is referred to as the Konstituion class or just Konnie.![]()
I kinda like the idea of it being an Archer Class ship. That’s for the Connies but I meant the maybe-Saladin class.
Especially looking at an NX-01 and a 23rd century ship. Would love for someone to do a modern update to the Franz Josephs tech manual sheets of different ships of the period.I kinda like the idea of it being an Archer Class ship.
I think Jonathan Archer was modest enough that he'd appreciate a tiny little class of scout ship being named after him.![]()
Yeah, seeing some of those designs with a SNW visual aesthetic would be interesting.Especially looking at an NX-01 and a 23rd century ship. Would love for someone to do a modern update to the Franz Josephs tech manual sheets of different ships of the period.
I maintain that if the hull was brighter/lighting was better, this would be the best looking Enterprise out of all of them. What a beauty!Seeing this thread topic come alive for a minute really has me dying to get into season 3. It's no secret that I love The Enterprise, as she's depicted in SNW, and I can't wait to see her again!
With that in mind.... I got bored and threw together a few of my favourite shots of her, because who doesn't love Starship porn?
