The intermix chamber looks too much like a TARDIS control console for my liking

Well now we know how the interiors of the 1701 were enlarged...The intermix chamber looks too much like a TARDIS control console for my liking![]()
Well spotted! I've listened again, and I'm pretty sure the name is Yelchin. Two things I would like to add.
In the first episode, as Stamets is approaching the Enterprise, we hear this announcement: "USS [], please transfer to y." I am trying to understand what the name of this ship. It sounds like Elgin.
Well spotted! I've listened again, and I'm pretty sure the name is Yelchin.
But it's pretty early registry-wise for a 'NCC-4774' Yelchin, so possibly an earlier ship still.
Yeah But I assume that the Yelchin mentioned in the background radio chatter of SNW S01E01 was either the NCC-4774.. OR a prior USS Yelchin
Makes me wish thats how the Defiant bridge should've looked in Enterprise's mirror universe.
Maybe for a fan film. It did not look good for a modern Trek production. Look too much like a 60s set with modern displays. The Defiant bridge looked fantastic in STE.
Yeah, and they wasted an opportunity to update the design for 21st century Television. And the point at the time for "In a Mirror, Darkly" was to do classic design with modern tech embedded.
Exactly my point. It's not from the 21st century.
And the point at the time for "In a Mirror, Darkly" was to do classic design with modern tech embedded.
Fans will never be convinced it wouldn't work. Singular data points are all that matters.Exactly my point.
