Spoilers The Strange New Worlds Starship Thread™

So is there a way to scale Pike with his windows in his quarters? With the amount of windows, it seems like the Enterprise is actually a lot smaller than before, or around the same scale as the TOS Enterprise. Not sure exactly how to measure it myself, but just seeing Pike's cabin with all those windows...makes me wonder just how big the Enterprise is in SNW.

I guess it might be considered a Scout, since they were there to observe the planet.
Agreed. Since they named it after Archer - an explorer - I would definitely put it in the scout category. If it were a destroyer I would have expected something more like Schwartzkopf or Powell. :D

Xahea looks WAY too close to home, given its placement in "Such Sweet Sorrow" in Grid 07...which would be way out in the Perseus Arm, well rimward of most of Federation-known-space. And should Platonius even be known to Starfleet yet?

Perhaps named but not visited.

Would a 3D map of the galaxy ever look exactly the same when viewed from different points of reference?

I just chalk it up to the particular computer displaying the star systems based on where it is currently located.

Thus it will never appear to be precisely the same.

Given the crew of three, I wonder if it wasn’t intended to be the tiny Archer-class scout of the novels at some point, the message got muddled and it turned into an FJ scout by the time it got to VFX and production design.

So.. With a now Completely hollow nacelle strut on the archer.. How does the power get to the nacelle? Willpower?
