Voting for Birthright, part two, because of those remaining it's got the most small positives. I like the idea of the generational POW camp. Though it might have been interesting if he found Mogh alive there with a Romulan half sister.

I will clothe "The Naked Now" with a point. Someone mentioned before that if the episode was produced later in season one, it would have been better. I have to agree with that. It's one of those rare cases where the placement of an episode in the series is not a benefit.

Homeward. The basic idea behind the story is actually quite a neat one, and Paul Sorvino gives a strong guest performance. Really, it's only the Prime Directive stuff at the start that drags the story down.

I'll do "The Host" this round. The problem with this one is that it doesn't age well... after DS9 so successfully revamped the Trill, this rough early version of them just feels a bit creaky, not as interesting.

That being said, if you set that aside and view it in isolation, "The Host" is a perfectly fine episode -- one of their stronger attempts at a ROTW.
