I put my vote for Shades of Grey, because as I have said, the only thing that brings it down is the fact it's got clips. If they do the remastered version by filming new stuff, like Riker as a kid learning about his mum's death, his first assignment, meeting Deanna for the first time, etc, then this would be one of the greats.

And the Children Shall Lead is easily the worst episode of TOS. It's just a complete train-wreck of a story. However, it doesn't have offensive stereotypes and it's not boring (meaning that as bad as it is, it's capable of holding my attention - even if that simply means that I'm laughing at the stupidity). It's probably the worst of what I considered the "silly/stupid" episodes that made it onto this list.

God!, now what to pick?

As bad as it might sound, I'll take an offensive episode over a boring one any day. If something can hold my attention it gets a pass at this stage.

Code of Honor - it does have stereotypes, but I think that a lot of people over-emphasize them at times. The offensiveness isn't as horrible as Up the Long Ladder, for instance.

I'm totally stuck. This bottom five is some repulsive stuff.

I'm going to go against what I've voted in previous rounds and vote for Shades of Gray. It's my least favourite episode of TNG - the story is horrible, and the clips are from an age of TNG that was very hit and miss. However, it was a studio mandated episode in order to save money, so I'll give them a bye. The other four episodes can't say that!

I'm actually going for Code of Honor also. The more I think about it, even though it was a stupid episode (wife stealing? What is this, a reality TV show?) The fight to the death is no worse than Arena, and that's one of Star Trek fan's most favorite episodes.

Oh Jesus, are you serious? Shades of Gray? That was the one I was hoping would actually come in LAST place. I will vote for both Voyager episodes before I vote for Shades of Gray.
