Spoilers The Mandalorian | Disney+ | Streaming Nov. 12

Hell on Wheels was an awesome show. And lest we forget Deadwood. Both had great stories and great cast. A shame it didn't translate into more western-style series. Takes a lot to get something like that right with a modern audience. Seems that only theatrical films can really work with that genre these days.

That episode might have just made this entire season worth it. I didn't even mind the episodic nature of the series, but this tied everything full circle and I can't wait to see what happens next week. That was some of the best Star Wars I've seen in years.

Good episode. Though I wonder where it goes after this season? I'm hoping they don't keep Baby Yoda around. Very cute, but definitely makes it harder to take the show seriously.

Over on Io9, they theorized that if Kuiil dies Mando could end up taking IG-11 with him. So maybe this could happen, and instead of Mando and Baby Yoda traveling the galaxy, season 2 could be Mando and IG-11. Then each season he gets paired up with a new character.

If he starts talking and has a ‘tude, I might disagree with that. ;)

So, THAT’s how a TIE lands. Always wondered about that. Question then becomes, how did Gideon get out of that thing from up high? Kick ass episode all around.

Rebels tended to stylize everything though, didn't it?

Either way, I got a kick out of seeing the lamest Star Wars toy* in live action. :D

*Amongst my friends, at least.

Firstly, Kuiil! No! I hope he's okay. :(

Secondly, things just kept going from bad to worse, and of course they end the episode on a cliffhanger. Now I have to wait endless week for the next episode! I can't wait to see how they resolve it in next week's finale. I love how everyone is coming together, and how previous episodes tie in to the finale, so it had something of an arc overall, which is great for me, as I love the characters as presented so far, with Cara Dune being a favorite just because she's awesome. I'm curious about little Yoda's behavior, too, force choking Cara seemed odd considering up to that point its behavior had been harmless, so I wonder if there's something else at work.

Most TIEs just land as-is, from memory. Rebels and Battlefront II definitely had them with wings in the normal position.

Probably how it lands in the field with no available infrastructure vs. how it lands in a proper hangar.

We’ve seen tie land on their wings out in the field without folding, the Moff’s TIE is just a special model.

Merchandise is calling it an Outland TIE
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Outland_TIE_fighter

It’s actually based on concept art for a landed TIE Fighter made during the very early pre-production phase of TFA.

Just surprised that Twitter or others aren't all up in arms on how Baby exhibited a force power that wasn't in the original movies.. like Force Projection was in Last Jedi.. :vulcan:
