I eliminated the last episode of season 4 to make The Drumhead the winner, but of the remaining episodes, it's the weakest. Eliminated.

I start the new round with a vote for Tapestry. Of the episodes, I feel it was the weakest. I wish we got more of the "bizarro" present where Picard is a mere ensign. I wish that were an entire episode.

My vote goes for "The Measure of a Man" - how could Starfleet in its right mind even think about dismantling Data? To me, the premise flies in the face of everything Star Trek is about - however, so do all the issues concerning the rights of holo-citizens, including the Doctor of Voyager.

I vote Tapestry. Because I hate it and because the others are genuinely better. Q Who isn't a masterpiece but it's the better if the two Q episodes and introduces the Borg which have brought some pretty good episodes. Measure of a man is just genius genius genius. It's got some of the best writing in all of Star Trek. The Defector is a watchable episode with an good plot and it brings an interesting character. Tapestry doesn't bring anything new (just more flashy Q stuff), I guess it might have a few lines of good writing but not a lot and I just don't find it as watchable.

Your wish is my command. The Defector isn't as good as the other two. Also, it introduced the 4-footer, shoving the majestic 6-footer into storage, only to be used two more times. Darn you, Defector!

Final round! Tough choice.... but I'm going with Measure of a Man. Q Who? later served as a stepping stone for TNG to step out of the shadow of TOS for good. Plus I like the Borg back when they were still an actual hive mind.
