A small plane has crashed into a shopping centre in Essendon . First reports said it was an air ambulance heading for King Island but that has been denied by the ambulance service.

Latest reports are that the pilot was a 60 year old and a very experience pilot. The four passengers were American golfers travelling to King Island.
