Kennedy says the end of the High Republic in the presentation.I was looking through the StarWars.com article about last night's announcements, and I noticed it say High Republic, not Old Republic. This makes me wonder if it might be close to the same time as the High Republic books and comics.

Nope, he's to young, according to Wookiepedia he was born around 84 years before A New Hope. One theory I read early today is that's it's focused on Plagueis.
