Tardigrade lawsuit appealed

He blocked me on a twitter and I've never said a word to him, on there.
I would not be at all surprised if he lurks around here.
One could, I suppose, then assume that he's blocked all of us who weren't immediately on "his side".

Other than looking for myself at his stuff on STEAM and doing Google searches to try and get at the facts when this all came to light, I have never interacted directly with him either.

I have had some painful discussions with folks who have gone all in on the CBS Hate-Wagon on Yt a few times though.

Same username yes, and I do follow Axamonitor.

It's possible I also responded to a tweet he was tagged in and didn't notice.

In his interview he said "a simple google search of space themed games" leads rght badk to my game.

So I put space themed games into google. 10 Pages in and stuff nothing for tardigrades... hmm

I tried that just looking at Google'd images and couldn't find any of his stuff even after 300+ pic's.

I even just went to steam itself and can't even find his game. I even searched by name - nothing. likely because he never released it. This idea of his that his game was so easy to find just isn't true.

Part of the problem with trying to locate it on STEAM is that Their GREENLIGHT program has been deactivated for several years now and has fallen by the wayside in the STEAM search function.

Yeah, the only way to find it now is If you google tardigrades + Greenlight it should be a top result.

Because as Dave said, they retired the service.

Just.. just don't read the comments.

Wow. There likely are no major consequences for him other than the potential for a counter-suit by CBS (which won't happen, for reasons already discussed here and elsewhere), but I think he's losing all support from the people who were initially sympathetic to him with what he's doing now.

Heh ...
Who needs "support" when one has thousands of dollars flowing in with no strings attached.

Of course eventually, that well is going to dry up.
I would hazard a guess that that will be sooner rather than later and he will be hung out in the wind to dry by his 'friends' eventually.

Had this guy pout out a fundraiser to finish his friggin' game, I would have loved him. At least he would be creating something new.

Instead he comes across as super delusional and greedy. You can be one of those (all companies are "greedy" for example). But combined, it's really hard to feel sympathy for.

What are the symptoms of an aneurysm? Because I think I had one while reading that interview.

I knew it would be great when he went "I'm respecting the ruling! Of course I do, that's why I want to void it!"

Or how he completely dodges the question on what his end goal is with some vague statements about "justice", or evades telling us, exactly, why he couldn't ask for help setting up a gofundme to help finish the game.

Then there's this:
My story is being heavily suppressed by the US media. Lesser stories got mentioned. I am hiring a media-marketig expert to help get the word out. And No, Gary is not getting anything from the campaign, he even donated all his super chats to the campaign. And the t-shirt revenue as well is donated to the campaign.

It's a lawsuit. Why does your story being mentioned in the media matter? Or is it just that you know exactly that the court of (uninformed) public opinion is the only one you can "win" this case in?

And then this:
I created a giant blue tardigrade used to facilitate instantaneous space travel, the tardigrade is in a research conducted by a blonde botanist whom has a homosexual act with an ethnic male. This is too specific to be a general idea and it wasn't dealt with in any prior work.

... and then it hit me. That phrasing, "has a homosexual act with". He's talking about that glory hole thing in his game, isn't he? So I checked, and yeah:

Finally, in another desperate move, they are claiming that I'm collecting bits from here and there to match my game to their show with similarities. It seems like it hit them hard that Carter the blonde botanist who is researching the tardigrade space travel has encountered an interracial homosexual act with black bearded Aziz in the glory hole scene that was posted on my blog [link], twitter[link] and AGS forums[link] before their show aired. Even though I didn't show explicit images, the post is clear: "A newly drilled hole on one of the toilet dividers by Aziz" and you can see Carter's foot tapping as an invitation to the sexual act. Anyone with basic knowledge of the LGBTQ community knows what glory holes are, and at least has basic knowledge of the gestures. How could such a large television network be so out of touch and not inclusive of a community of people that is so underrepresented in television?
If one would believe their legal argument, Star Trek would also have no copyrightable elements.
From here: http://anas-tronaut.blogspot.com/2019/03/game-developer-vs-game-player.html

So the Discovery writers didn't create Stamets and Culber as a sweet, loving couple because they wanted to create representation of gay people outside of very special episodes and tragic tales of woe, no they wrote them into the show because the glory hole mechanic in his game was just so compelling to witness they had to copy it.

Hulk. SMASH.
