A great episode. And very appropriately titled. Everyone getting killed, Castiel sacrificing himself to save Dean.
And speaking of that scene... wow. Just wow. That's the first time Castiel broke into tears like that. And saying he loved Dean. I was shedding a single man tear through that scene. And Dean just lying in the corner, sobbing... poor guy.
A very nice touch with the handprint on Dean, which was a great callback to his handprint when Castiel saved him from hell.
A shame Eileen was killed offscreen, but I guess the budget likely wouldn't allow for even more guest stars. It worked out, though, because you see just how shook Sam is, and that silent exchange between him and Dean spoke volumes.
I'm curious what that meant with the plantband Jack. If he's powerless, what happened there? That obviously has a role in the end.
And Bobby. I have always had a soft spot for Bobby, and watching him die again just hurts. Even though this Bobby is different than original Bobby, it still hurts. Charlie and Donna, too.
If the empty gas station and playground is any indication, it looks like Chuck just deleted everyone else. Did he do the same with all the monsters, too? Vampires, werewolves, ghouls, djinn, dragons, rougaru, etc.? Or did he leave them there just to have the boys severely outnumbered and get one final bit of entertainment before he offs the world?
