Spoilers Supernatural Season 15--the final season

Funny to think that the kid actors on this episode tonight weren’t even born when this show started. I enjoyed the episode. I like the joke of having young Sam a lot smaller than Dean. Must be before his growth spurt.
The episode gave me It/The Shinning vibes. I assume the latter was what Dean was referring to. The food order was funny. If you listen to the orders he gets two burgers and a veggie one, and then a salad for Sam. That means those two meat burgers are for him. :)

Pretty "meh" episode for me. Didn't really feel it.... Felt like a filler episode tossed in to padd out episode count. Was Ok, for what it was, but just didn't grab me.

Looks like this will be the last standalone hunt before the showdown with Chuck. It was a nice idea to include a flashback to the beginning of the boys' career, now that we're so near the end. Although the camera tricks to keep daddy's face out of sight were a little awkward. It was also cute to tie in Dean's very first lie to Sam. :rommie: And speaking of cute, I really liked that actress who played adult Caitlin. I'm glad she survived the monster so that she can experience the end of the world.

It was great to see Billie again, but not so good to hear that she's not in this part of Chuck's book-- especially since it's been implied that Death is exempt from Chuck's manipulations. It seems unlikely that this will be the last time we see her, though.

So it seems that Cass did come clean about Jack's self-sacrifice in the last episode, and now Dean has told Sam-- after a little delay. I think Sam kind of overreacted on this one. It was only a couple of days or so. Give Dean some time to process, dude! But I suppose this wouldn't be Supernatural without the boys being on the outs over something. Gotta get in one last spat! :D

Four more to go.

This was an average, run-of-the-mill episode. I enjoyed it, but this late in the game I want something better than average. This is the last monster of the week episode we'll ever get and when you look at it that way it's not the best note to end on. Although I did notice quite a few references to Sam and Dean having a normal life with Caitlin even directly asking Sam about it. The scenes with that college book definitely had me raising an eyebrow. I'm starting to wonder if the series is going to end with Jack wiping out all the demons and monsters to give Sam, Dean, and Castiel a peaceful retirement. Well, a peaceful retirement until the inevitable Supernatural revival in 15 years anyway.

I thought this one had a nice creepy vibe to it. It harkens back to their earlier seasons where they focused more on that.

A final look at the boys when they were... boys. Funny when I thought about this... the show is older than the kids portraying the leads as kids.

Enjoyable overall, and almost certainly the last standalone.

Don't forget!

Looking at the list of guest stars at the beginning of the episode I felt like I was watching an episode from DS9 season 6 or 7. Awesome roster of guest stars tonight!!!

So Death is the true baddie? I hope this leads to the previous one returning because he was awesome.

HolyMotherfuckingCRAP. What a place to end! Oh man...Something is definitely odd with Chuck. Maybe Amara merged with him to "fix" him?? What will happen to Jack now? Is he really going to explode and take everyone out?

She's not the big baddie. A baddie for sure, but Chuck's still the main bad guy this season.

He orchestrated everything, including Billie. A nudge here, a vision there, he said. I think he played Amara, too.

This was a great episode.

I loved the conversations the boys had. Even I had to concede Dean was being a dick when he said Jack wasn't family. That was cold and harsh, but I get where he was coming from.

I am glad Dean stopped Baby to have that talk with Jack. That was a good scene.

But the tearjerker was Sam's last plea with Dean. That was very, very well done.

And Chuck absorbed Amara... it definitely looks like he played her, too. I'm really curious to see what happens now.

Only 3 episodes left...

Okay, this episode hit us with some twists and turns. This whole plan is really just Billie's power play to become God-- and do everything by the books. Not that Chuck isn't really the bad guy, since he has, after all, destroyed the multiverse and still wants to destroy the sole remaining universe. Even Amara couldn't talk him out of it, and he was finally able to sway her over to his side when she learned that Dean had lied to her. But that merging thing didn't seem to go so well, looking more like Chuck absorbed her. I wonder what Amara is thinking now that she's "in there somewhere."

The thing I don't understand is why Chuck needs to destroy everything now that he's bored with it. Why can't he just abandon it to the public domain and go start something new? He's pretty possessive of something that he's "over."

Hippie Adam and his Hippie Angel girlfriend were a surprise. I've been wanting to see Adam turn up for quite a while, but this wasn't quite what I expected. :rommie: And the ultimate magical totem being one of his ribs cracked me up. Yet, even though he got stabbed in the stomach, they did not resolve the question of whether he had a naval.

The best twist, of course, was that this was Chuck's intended ending all along-- yet one of the boys did not kill the other according to his script. Doesn't this prove that they already have free will? Unfortunately, the point is probably moot, as the Rick Springfield version of Lucifer might say, since Jack is about to turn into a supernatural Black Hole and suck everyone into oblivion.

People are theorising online that this will lead to another powerful entity being awoken To take on Chuck and the rest. I was trying to think of something more powerful than God and all I could think of was Godzilla. :)
