But isn't Flash a lot faster than Supergirl?
Yes he is.
Still gotta race though

But isn't Flash a lot faster than Supergirl?
Didn't we just see Supergirl's speed in this last episode? I would love to see a race between both of them. But isn't Flash a lot faster than Supergirl? We haven't really seen Supergirl use her speed but we have seen Flash run so fast that he is breaking the time barrier.
I'm wondering if, on the return to Earth-One, Barry get's "lost" and ends up on Supergirl's Earth having an adventure with Kara. On "The Flash" there's a bit of delay with Barry coming back, but then he's back and all "whoa...I just got back from another Earth, let me tell you guys about it" cut to commercial break.
Well, except the visit to Earth-2 is next week and this crossover isn't until 7 weeks later. I doubt The Flash will be spending 7 weeks on Earth-2, although that would be kind of awesome.
Awesome news! A bit surprised that it appears to be only a one-way crossover
I don't see why you would. It sounds like it's just going to be Barry coming to Supergirl, so I doubt it'll have any impact on his show.
And I know it wasn't part of the announcement, but I'm really really hoping they find a way for Cisco to crossover with Barry as well. Because his reaction to Kara and interactions with the other Supergirl characters would just be freakin hilarious to see. And maybe even more fun than seeing Kara and Barry together.![]()
Well, i was on the fence with Supergirl, I hadn't decided if I should give it up or not. This tilted the show back into the "keep watching" category for me. So, I'll keep watching, at least until after the crossover. If nothing else, it will be interesting to see if The Flash showing up can reduce Cat Grant's screen time from (what feels like) 30-35 minutes an episode to something more appropriate for a character whose name isn't in the show's title
Honestly though, I like Supergirl as a character. I want to see her team up with The Flash. I'm just sick and tired of Cat Grant getting what feels like as much if not more screen time than Supergirl per episode. The show wouldn't even be in danger of being dropped by me if it wasn't for Cat Grant. So, I can wait for the crossover and then reevaluate whether or not its worth suffering through Cat's scenes to see the bits of Supergirl stuff they give the viewers per episode.
Wow, what show are you watching?
Because that's very much not what this series protagonists would or should do.
I want to see Cisco and Cat have a nickname-off. "'Reverse Flash'? That's seriously the best you could come up with?" "Oh, yeah, like 'Bizarro' is any better?"
and as she's not broken any law that would sendhimher to jail/endhisher threat, again--what do you do?
No way!I haven't seen Flash this week yet, so in the interest of spoiler free, I'm going to post it in here:

I guess it was inevitable, but I'm still really excited about this. It's a Crossover I will actually understand.
Flash technobabble has him breaking the time barrier by only running Mach 2 (IIRC)...so that doesn't necessarily mean he's as fast as you'd think he'd be in order to do that.Yes he is.
Still gotta race though![]()
That's literally Max Lord's reasoning for trying to kill Supergirl.
He's the villain in case you haven't noticed.
Deadline Hollywood confirmed that the crossover is a "one-way street" for now and only features Barry because he's the only character with the ability to travel between dimensions.
Why is National City considered another dimension just because it's on CBS?
It's not; Supergirl's Earth is a separate dimension from the "Flarrow"-verse's Earth-1 because Superman doesn't exist (yet) on the "Flarrow"-verse's Earth-1 whereas he does - and has for 30+ years - on Supergirl's Earth.
