Constantine seems like a natural replacement should they ever cancel Supernatural.

They should have just done that this year, considering Supernatural could have had a near perfect pilot-to-finale wrapup with the Season 11 ending with such minor tweaks its ridiculous. There is nowhere else to take the story. I love the show, but honestly feel that this would have been the perfect time to retire SN and allow Constantine to make a 5 day a week DCU.... would have been fitting, considering how much Hellblazer inspired Sn to begin with.

Careful with episode 4 and 5 being out of order. (The Paris Attacks.)

DVDs and stuff stay too loyal to the original broadcast order, because they get hinky about episode numbering after different bodies begin respecting different metrics... Actually, I wonder if this could be a copyright issue, that the people making the DVDs and collecting the streaming packages are not allowed to fix mistakes because payments for specific episodes are due for the playing of specific episodes in some cases.

Well, at least in Blu- R2, they play in order - The guide is just screwy inside. I think there's also a misspelling of Krypton on the back cover when mentioning the extras too

(That is, unless the local supermarket picked up a bunch of fakes )

I've been watching the repeats on CW and I'm watching the episode about the bombings now. If there is one thing I don't like about the Berlanti shows is how they deal with relationships. This episode had the stupid boring love triangle between Kara, James and Lucy, and the way Flash dealt with Patty is still the weakest part of that season for me. I get that we're probably getting more relationship stuff now that the show is going to CW, but can it be written better? At least have some urgency around it and make me care.

Patty was a speedbump (speedhump?) between Barry and Iris eventually hooking up to live happily ever after. That beautiful relationship totally had a minuscule half life.

I wonder now that Berry has changed history if Patty will return but that is for the Flash thread.

Bumping this to report that season 1 of Supergirl is streaming on Netflix as of today. Unfortunately, it's showing "How Does She Do It?" and "Livewire" in their inverted broadcast order instead of their correct story order. Hopefully that will be fixed at some point.

Now I don't need to use the CW repeats, especially this Monday. Glad it came out a month in advance rather than the actual day of the premiere, like what happened with Flash last year.
