I think he's ok. I want more Trek with him to get used to him.

It would be really neat if SNW rolled into a brand new series of TOS beginning with brand new The Cage or The Managerie with the Vina we saw in Discovery played by the same actress

The Cage is before SNW

There's no reason to bring Vina back unless we're completely retelling the story.

Not sure how much more Trek is needed to get use to Wesley. He seems Kirk enough, and we get the sense of him both as an officer and as a brother.

Why would we need to do the "The Cage" again? It's been revisited twice already in DISCO and SNW.

I love Wesley as Kirk. But as I've said before, I don't want a Kirk focused show.

I could see the finale coming full circle and telling the Menagerie from Spock's point of view and leading up to the trial then seeing Pike reunite with Vina on Talos.

Then seeing Pike's funeral and memorial service with the new cast and the other SNW characters wherever they may be 5 years later.

I'm rewatching S1 and then S2 in preparation for when my s3 set arrives. I'm up to "Lift us up to where suffering cannot reach" and it's a great episode. I'd still give it an 8 as I did in its own thread but watching this again it left a bad taste which isn't a negative it's a good thing I think. I like an episode that's a no win situation and you don't get the happy ending, because that isn't really real life for the most part.

I wonder if in later years the Federation didn't visit these people again and try and offer them a hand. Surely better technology exists in stay the time of TNG or such that could have helped them.

I imagine Pike did report them to Starfleet and they became persona non grata. I could see them lending aid to the Prospect colonists if they ever asked and just sitting by and watching a civil war happen or another attempt to blow up a shuttle with the next sacrifice on it.

Unless landing in this case means "stop flying" I feel like Kelvin ENTERPRISE didn't land but crashed.

Not really given the episode "A Quality of Mercy." It's a rather obvious choice.
