Strange New Worlds season 3 on DVD

I cannot for the life of me find the non-4k Blu-Ray in Canada other than from a third party seller on Amazon.

Even Wal-Mart only has it on DVD.

I had to get mine through Amazon.com.
Same here, and my copy ended up getting delayed a month from release date. It's happening a lot these days with home video releases because the number of disc manufacturing factories has drastically reduced in the last few years. Studios (like Disney in particular) have been trying to push physical media out with the rapid ramp-up with streaming, but the old girl's still ticking.

I misread the title "Shuttle To Kenfori" as Shuttle To Kenobi

I just picked up season 3 on dvd out of hmv today, decided to treat myself. I noticed something interesting on the inside cover it gives little synopses for each episode and La'an is spelt La'An in this one but La'an in the first two.

I've noticed that too.. Wonder why they did that or just typo that no one bothered to notice.

BTW on my sets season 1 and 2 have recaps on the inside cover of the disk but on season 3 on my set the inside cover is blank. Oddly my season 1 and 2 set is multi region 1, 2, and 4.

My season 3 set is also region 1, 2, and 4

La'An is the spelling that's used in the novels, and the authors have said that's what Paramount has instructed them to use as the proper spelling. Though, I have to admit, for my part I still spell it La'an as La'An just looks weird to me.

And yes, I do realize that's not a proper attitude to have.

It's the correct attitude. I am Team La'an.

It's also used in the official press releases/articles on startrek.com, the Paramount press site, and in the subtitles on P+ (presumedly the home discs too)

It's been formatted that way in most official writings since before Season 1 aired, and no one really noticed for whatever reason.

I also convinced the Memory-Alpha editors to change the formatting of her name on there. ;)

BTW, in case anyone in Canada still hasn't gotten their set, the standard Blu-ray is now available through Canadian Amazon themselves (meaning not a third party selling through them).
