I get the good ramen from the Asian grocery, the noodles are better and you get little packets of sesame or almond oil and freeze dried veggies for more savoriness. That 50 cent ramen don't cut it now.The one on sale.

Apparently Instant Ramen was launched in 1958 under the "Chikin Ramen" brand.
In the 1960s, they became popular in the United States, and a subsidiary of Nissin Foods was established there.
In 1971, Nissin introduced Cup Noodles, the first cup noodle product.

For a series that allegedly shows nothing but disrespect to the visual continuity of TOS it sure goes out of its way to mimic or even copy it with props.
That device Scotty uses to insert a datatape isn't the exact same device with a viewing slot seen in TOS, but it's got some fun similarities, and looks very retro with those chunky gray buttons.

Weren't the complaints about visual continuity more a DSC thing? Yes, SNW isn't a carbon copy of TOS by any stretch of the imagination, but it has taken steps to mimic it far better than DSC ever did.
Oh, some fans aren't happy with SNW's aesthetic choices, neither.
That's the kind of ramen with sodium counts so high, my feet are swelling just thinking about it.
Those fans stopped being happy about new choices in the franchise around 2005.
They’re a damn-sight better than the aesthetic choices of DSC.

If they were, people wouldn't be complaining.
And don't give me that, "Well, you can't please everyone" crap...
Fans are kind of like hunters; even if they have a good time the complaints are still the first thing to be said about a hunting trip.

That device Scotty used on SNW gives me joy. It's so a mix of 1960s prop aesthetics and the Atari/Colecovision era of electronic console devices that looked blocky but could do amazing things for the 1980s.
I have nothing significantly bad to say about Lower Decks, Prodigy, Short Treks, a lot of Picard and a bunch of SNW. While I don't love everything, it takes a certain kind of awful to get me to complain. I trust most other fans are equally discerning.
You're far more generous than I with the majority of fans (as in all fans, not the handful posting here).
I even like a bit of Discovery...
I will draw the line at giving any credit to Section 31...
